- Best Arrival Time: Visit between 9:00–10:00 AM on weekdays to access the expanded vegetable market, where fresh local produce from the Asagiri Mountain region is displayed and sold before midday crowds arrive.
- Hidden Gems: At the new expanded vegetable market, look for the seasonal “Asagiri Mountain Fresh” bundles—local radishes, spinach, and carrots—only available during the spring and autumn harvests.
- Weekend Special: On weekends, the ice cream shop offers a special “Mount Fuji View” flavor made with locally sourced milk and a hint of yuzu, available only from 10:30 AM until sold out.
- Best View Spot: Head to the newly added outdoor terrace seating at the dining room, specifically the leftmost corner table, for an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji during the early afternoon hours.
- Must-Try Food: Order the “Asagiri Mountain Beef Bowl” at the restaurant—this dish features locally raised beef served over rice with a special soy-ginger glaze, available only from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
- Free Service: Use the newly installed public Wi-Fi at the information counter, which requires a short registration via the official website to access. This is the only free internet service available at the station.
- Avoid Crowds: Avoid the main parking area near the entrance between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on weekends, as it fills quickly with tour buses and day-trippers; instead, use the smaller lot near the vegetable market entrance for easier access.
