Located just a 3-minute drive from Shiojiri Interchange and a 40-minute journey from Matsumoto Station, it’s a convenient destination for travelers exploring the region.

The park shines with its multi-use spaces, including a full-size soccer field, a lively children’s playground, and a dedicated area for mallet golf and BBQ. The on-site restaurant, O-sakada Dining, serves seasonal favorites like hearty beef stew sandwiches and winter-exclusive hot drinks, while the nearby shop offers local specialties and seasonal treats. With events ranging from community soccer nights to family-friendly festivals, Kosaka-ta Park is more than a rest stop—it’s a dynamic hub where visitors connect with nature, each other, and the spirit of the region.

Kosaka-ta Park stands out as the only roadside station in the region offering a full-spectrum outdoor experience centered around active community engagement. Its standout feature is the Sanko Green Field, a dedicated natural grass soccer pitch where visitors can join weekly koko-saru (individual soccer) events—open to all ages and skill levels, often featuring former professional players as guest participants. Beyond sports, the park’s winter-exclusive menu at the O-saka-da Dining Hall includes a unique beef stew pancake, crafted with locally slow-cooked beef and red wine, available only from December through February. This fusion of athletic community and seasonal culinary artistry makes Kosaka-ta Park a destination unlike any other.

• Best Arrival Time: Visit between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on weekdays to secure a seat at the OsaKada Food Court before the winter menu items sell out, especially the winter-exclusive beef stew pan and hot drinks.

• Hidden Gems: At the OsaKada Food Court, look for the seasonal beef stew pan—made with red wine-braised beef stew and served in a freshly baked bun—available only from December through February.

• Weekend Special: On Saturdays and Sundays, visit the OsaKada Food Court between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to participate in the TOYBOX Stamp Rally, where you can collect stamps at each activity zone and redeem them for a free hot drink or small snack.

• Event Timing: Attend the TOYBOX Cup Mallet Golf Tournament on Friday afternoons, where the event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and features guest appearances by former professional football players from Matsumoto Yamaga FC.

• Parking Tip: If arriving from the Ina direction, take the eastern exit near the management office and OsaKada Market 790, as the signage clearly marks this route and avoids confusion with the main entrance.

• Playground Access: To access the indoor children’s athletics facility, enter through the Children’s Square entrance and check the schedule posted near the entrance, as access is restricted during organized events and group activities.

• Special Offer: Visit the OsaKada Food Court on weekdays between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to purchase the limited-time winter hot drink and affogato combo, which is only available until 5:00 PM daily and is not available during weekend events.
